Edmonton Council for Early Learning and Care Launches New Website
Seeing the need to communicate about its work with an ever widening audience, the Edmonton Council for Early Learning and Care unveiled its new website today. Since March of 2019 the Council has worked to support EndPovertyEdmonton’s “game-changer” goal of creating a system of high-quality, affordable early learning and care Edmonton, with an emphasis on meeting the needs of low-income and vulnerable families.
The Council’s vision is “early learning and care for all children that is high in quality, universally available, accessible, affordable, and responsive to the diversity of individual children and their families.” As the Council pursues this vision, it will share its work and receive insights and guidance from others in Edmonton and elsewhere who have experience and expertise in early learning and care, and who are committed to making the benefits of high-quality, affordable early learning and care available to young children, their families, and their communities. The Council has created the new website with these objectives in mind.
This site provides information about the Council and its activities, maintains an archive of the Council’s reports, and includes links to websites directly relevant to early learning and care. This website was designed and implemented by Diva Communications, an Edmonton-based graphic design firm.
